Hi ladies! I just wanted to drop a line and tell you that I am madly in love and I think Pixie feels the same! :) She is by far the easiest-going, fun, loving dog I have ever had the pleasure of sharing my life with. Pixie LOVES the snow and spends a lot of time making snow angels and looking at me with a big white beard...hahahahaha! She has adjusted so well to living with me and my cat (her buddy) and now with my fiance in our new home. She is so pleasant to be with and well behaved. Everyone loves her! As we are in a new neighborhood, I had to find her a new petsitter.....and that has worked out so well! I now have a very sweet young teenage girl taking her for a walk every afternoon. As the petsitter, Alyssa, has wanted a dog for years and thinks Pixie is the cutest thing since sliced bread...I'm not sure who is happier about the arrangement - Alyssa, me, or Pixie! Alyssa calls about once a week just to ask if she can stay and play longer with Pixie. :)
When I first got Pixie she looked a little rough and neglected from her previous owner. Cheryl, I remember you telling me that she came in needing some serious grooming. I spoke with Martha Leary at Star-Mar who told me not to be concerned about the red stains on Pixie's eyes...she assured me that a good diet would clear that right up...nothing else required. And boy was she right! Pixie's coat is absolutely GORGEOUS now without one splash of pink and so soft to the touch. I have attached before and after photos (probably not the best "after" as it was taken with my cell up close, but it's all I have with me at work) for you to see the difference in her.
Thank you both again for working so hard those couple of weeks in July to make this happen. I feel blessed.
Sincerely,
Kristen & Pixie
