Marilyn's Got Melot was a huge success! A tremendous THANK YOU to Brain and the staff at World Wines. They were terrific and very accommodating; and the selections of tastings chosen for us were great. The hor's d'oeurves by Chef Jason May or Take It Personal were fantastic, especially the poached pear with marscapone cheese on bruschette! The entertainment by Ken Eiker was perfect.

The work by Karla and the committee couldn't have been more worth it in the end. The raffle baskets and silent auction items were first class all the way! Special thanks to all the "men folk"-- husbands, boyfriends, significant others, sons, etc.--who helped with set up and tear down.

And the best news of all is that we came away with another $6000 to help save and rehabilitate more dogs! Thank you again to to everyone involved. If we can convince the committee to plan another Marilyn's Got Merlot we will do it again next year!
